Crystal's Gregg Michel Explains Booking Patterns
...Michel adds that luxury travel agents can grow in tandem with the
upcoming growth
of the luxury cruise business, but he adds that they must know their
product. "With the baby boomers retiring soon, they're going to take
more longer cruises tied into land
packages, so the travel agent is going to have to learn a lot and be
knowledgeable in these areas."
Thus, it makes sense that an agency
associated
with training, Cruise Professionals of
Mississauga, Ontario, received Crystal's number one worldwide sales
award. Crystal's Michel observes: "Those that train agents do well--Mary
Jean Tully [CEO of The Cruise Professionals] does a lot of
training."
